Is it really made of sand?
While
this stone is called "sandstone" which has connotations of something quite soft, it's actually very dense (or hard). The mPa
of our sandstone ranges from 46 - 69 mPa (measure of hardness). To give you some idea, the concrete slabs for average size
housing floors are approximately 25 mpa.
Is sandstone easy to clean?
Yes, if cared for properly.
How do you get the colors in the stone?
The colors are natural and nothing
is added to the stone process - only quarrying, cutting and polishing - we do not paint or bake these colors into the stone.
Will the colors fade?
No, these colors come from the minerals that were washed
through the stone during its formation and have remained there since that time.
I thought "Jurassic" was a movie term?
The Jurassic era is part of the time
by which the Stone Age is measured. The Stone Age is referred to as the Mesozoic era. Triassic and Jurassic form part of the
Mesozoic era.
Are there limitations on using sandstone?
Yes, sandstone is a natural product
and has its limitations like any natural product. It doesn't like salts or corrosive materials such as urea and certain fertilizers.
Can you use either crazy pave or tiles on driveways?
Yes.
Do you make re-constituted sandstone?
No, only the real original sandstone.

How durable is sandstone for kitchen bench tops - is it too hard and will break things more easily,
